Here is another great use of paper, this time plain white, to create patterns shaddows, buildings - all sorts. They could be used to be great illustrations. My particular favourite is 'traces in the snow' it uses the enviroment behind the paper to complete the scene- seen above. It's amazing to see such a simple everyday material being materialised into a form of art using only scissors and some glue!
This guys work reminds me of M.C. Escher's work, particularly the skeleton coming out of the paper. He isn't quite made yet. It's really interactive. It is like the paper man is coming to life, but he cant escape yet! Reminds me of Escher's drawing of the hands coming to life.
This is what you call exceptional origarmi...well not quite, but its nice to see a change and see people being creative with alternate materials, putting t on the brown b/g makes the work have alot more impact and would work with other colours.
